"Nice sunset isn't it, kid?"

"It sure is..Toucan Sans," you chuckled, sitting beside the winged creature that was your friend Sans. Both of your legs dangled from the cliff as you looked out to the horizon.

It has only been a few weeks since his "transformation"-when he took the SOULs for himself in an effort to destroy the Barrier and became this bizarre creature.
At first, you were terrified, thinking Sans would become another God of Hyperdeath, much like Asriel was in another timeline. But in reality, he had no intention to hurt anybody, even with his new-found, limitless powers.

Alphys was currently working on a way to extract the SOULs from Sans' body. The only downside was that, since he only has 1 HP, the pressure may be too great on his own SOUL.

You could tell that he was anxious about it, judging from the fact that he has been quieter than usual. It was then you decided to help him take his mind off of it by spending all the time you could with him....although it was quite hard to hold a proper conversation with him...as he had 8 others going on in his head.

"Hey [y/n]!"
"Hello~!"
"H-Hi.."
"Can I talk to her?"
"No.." Sans grunted.
"Awwh, why not?"
"Pretty pleeeeaaaaseeee?"

"What are they saying?" You asked, startling Sans out of his thoughts. Looking down at you, he relaxed a bit, letting out a small chuckle. "Ah...they're just..thinking of um..new jokes. But I put Frisk and Chara in a timeout cause they were causing a ruckus.."

"Go figure," you sighed, "they never get along, do they?" Sans shook his head, looking back at the setting sun. As the sky darkened and the stars started to reveal themselves, a sudden breeze rolled by, giving you a slight chill.

"Ya cold?"

"Well, a little but I-" You started, only to gasp when you felt a bony tail wrap around your waist, pulling you close to Sans. His bat-like wing draped itself around you, almost like a blanket. "Is that better?" He asked. You nodded, a small smile forming on your face as you felt...safer.

"Y..Yeah..thank you, Sans." The seraphim nodded at you response, before closing his eyes sockets. Hearing a slight purr, you looked up to see the broken Gaster Blaster that was always hovering over Sans' head. It's red eye glowed in the growing darkness as it nuzzled your cheek.

"Hehe..that tickles, Chara.." You giggled.

"Oh? So you're being a nice guy now, hm?"
"Tch..don't get too cocky, Mr. Smiley. I'm only doing this to your friend as thanks for saving my SOUL"
"Heh...guess Frisk is being a good influence on ya after all"
"....shut up."

Sans' eyes fluttered open as he let out a small sigh.

"Tired?"

"Mhmm," he nodded, "but they don't want to sleep. They're like a bunch of restless little kids--oh wait...that's exactly what they are.."The skeleton muttered, disappointed.

"Then..why don't we go somewhere?" You suggested. "Tell me..what's something you all like to do?" You asked the SOULs.

"Umm..I-I don't think that's how-"

"I remember building some snowmen in Snowdin."
"Oooh! Oooh! We should do that!"
"Are you a monkey or something?"
"Sans and Pap built some good snowmen..though Sans' were just lumps with his name on them"
"Hehehe, I remember that.."
"We should do that! Let's go NOW!"

Sans' eye sockets widened. "Is..something wrong, Sans?" You asked, tilting your head. He blinked, before he looked down at you, grinning.
"Heh..heheh...they do understand you." He rose to his feet. "C'mon, let's go build a snowman or something..I know a shortcut." He extended his hand down to you. "And don't worry..you can trust us--me..." Sans winked.

Nodding, you grasped his hand as he pulled you up. What you didn't expect was for him to then pick you up bridal style. "Hang on tight."

"Why-" You began, only to yelp in surprised when the world became warped and disoriented before fading to black.

After a few moments, you opened your eyes to find yourself in the familiar clearing of the Snowdin forest. Sans set you down on the ground. You gasped at how deep the snow was as it went past your ankles. "You okay [y/n]?" He asked you.

"U-Uh yeah..I'm good" You chuckled nervously, putting your hood up and rubbing your hands together.

"Heh, I thought you were [y/n]," Sans replied, making you giggle a bit. Even after he transformed, this was still the same Sans you knew: the same Sans who cracked a joke every chance he had, slept most of the day, took you out to Grillby's, and saved you from Flowey's malicious schemes.

"There's sooooo much snow here!" You started to lie down in the blanket of snow, looking up at the sky, as you started making a snow angel. "Come on Sans! You know you wannna join me~"

The seraphim nodded. "You're right, kiddo." He laid down next to you. Well...technically he had to be a bit further away from you because of his massive wingspan. "Just be warned though...my snow angel's gonna be weird as shi-.."

"Ummm language!"
"Heh..sorry, kiddo.."

"..ship," he corrected himself, chuckling nervously.

"Hmm..maybe it's good they are there to keep you in line, Sans," you giggled. He turned his head sharply, staring at you. Something in his eyes told you that your comment had upset him.

"I'm kidding."

Now his shoulders relaxed and his eyes reflected a calmer expression as he looked back up at the sky. "But..." You started, sitting up. "I do miss the old you.."

"Me, too, kiddo."

"You think Alphys's plan will work?"

Sans was silent for a few moments, wondering the same thing. "Well...I'm sure it will. That old machine hasn't been used since--" He stopped, hearing the murmurs of the SOULS in him-anxious, angry, and saddened murmurs.

The skeleton sighed, deciding that it was best not to bring up such a memory, as he sat up too.

"Ah nevermind..anyways Alphys always doubted herself."

"Yeah..that's true."

"According to her all she ever makes is garbage and produces failure."

"But...that's only the Amalgamates...and Flowey," you pointed out. "Mettaton wasn't a failure. And if she wasn't up to the task of extracting those SOULS from you...she would've given up a long time ago."

"That's true," Sans agreed, standing up and turning around. "That's why I trust her: not just because she's the only scientist around..but because we know she can do great things. She just needs...encouragement." Looking down at the snow, his eyes widened upon seeing the snow angel he made, before he started to chuckle.

Raising an eyebrow, you stood up and look at his creation, your eyes the size of dish plates. The "angel"'s wings were massive and frightening compared to your small and meek ones. You grinned from ear to ear, before laughing along with Sans.

"W-Wowie..." You giggled, wiping your eyes after calming down a bit. "Hey, we should build a snowman!"

"But-" Sans began.

"Then let's build a BIG one together!" You clapped your hands, bouncing up and down.

"..alright kid...let's get to work."

"I like this girl."
"I know, right? She's sooo nice."
"Wish I-I could've met her."
"At least [y/n] will comfort Sans until our appointment with the doctor's."
"Don't remind me..."
"Guys..she'll be there for him all the way. She'll be there for all of us."
"You're right...her hope for us is filling me with Determination."
"Heh.. can't wait to see where this goes..."

"Don't worry kids,"
Sans reassured them, "we'll be just fine. No one's giving up on us. But for now...let's enjoy the snowfall."

It's yet another fascinating UnderTale AU (I've recently become UT AU trash so ayyyyy). What basically happens in this one is that Sans absorbed the six human souls (after taking Frisk's) when Asgore refused to destroy the barrier so soon. So he became a god like Asriel/Omega Flowey, but the souls formed the minds of the fallen humans in his head (as well as himself, Frisk, and Chara).
The italics are the children talking inside of Sans' head.

Seraphim!Sans came from tratserenoyreve's comic called "The Thought", which you can find here-->tratserenoyreve.tumblr.com/pos…

Read it.
You'll LOVE it.
You won't regret it.

You might be asking yourself: "What's a seraphim?"

By definition, a seraphim is an angelic being, regarded in traditional Christian angelology as belonging to the highest order of the ninefold celestial hierarchy, associated with light, ardor, and purity.

So there you have it folks~ I'll get back to canon UnderTale stuff pretty soon. But in the mean time, hope you enjoy this~
