"Ahhhh.. fuck this shit-!"

"Jeez, kid, watch the language!"

"S-Sorry, Ink," you muttered, putting your hands down on your desk, staring back at the blank page in your sketchbook.

Lately you've been struggling to find inspiration. For art class you had to draw something, anything at all, using the knowledge you've learned throughout the year, but for some reason-out of all the things you could think about drawing-you mind just goes blank.

'I know people get Writer's Block..but is there such a thing as Drawer's Block?'

"Hey [y/n], you okay? You've been sitting there for the past 20 minutes and I don't see a single line on that paper. You're not drawing a blank are you?"

"Hahah, very funny, Ink," you said, turning in your chair to look at Ink, who magically appeared in your bedroom. "But yeah, I am quite literally drawing a blank."

The skeleton shot you a look as though you offended his great ancestors. "That's horrible!" He cried. "But don't worry, kiddo, Ink's got ya covered-"

"No. You are NOT doing my drawing this time," you cut in, knowing exactly where he was going with this. "It's MY project. I just need some ideas."

"Hmm.." Ink put a hand to his chin in deep thought, before he snapped his fingers. "I know! You can draw me!" He threw his hands up in the air, grinning widely.

You just stared at him, looking him up and down. Was he being serious? "Ink..you got a LOT of stuff going on. And I suck at clothing! I need something less complica-"

"There ya go again, kid," Ink interrupted, sighing as he sat down on your bed. "retreating back to your comfort zone as usual..you won't ever improve if you keep doing that. That's not what art is about."

"Then..what is it about?" You questioned. "Please, teach me Ink."

"It's about going outside the box, taking that risk, and challenging yourself." He explained, taking his massive paintbrush and sweeping it across your floor. "It's like trying a new food. How will you know you won't like the outcome of it if you don't give it a shot? Listen, [y/n], the only one's whose limiting your potential is yourself."

Bright, swirling colors overlaid the contrasting, dull [f/c] carpet, making you look down at the pattern in wonder. Of course you knew it wasn't actually paint, but pure magic.

"Sure, you may have trouble finding inspiration," Ink said, looking back up at you, "but the more you put yourself out there, the easier it'll be to find it." He smiled. "Hey, it may even just start chasing after you instead of you chasing after it."

"Wow..sounds like you and my art teacher should be besties," you chuckled, glancing up before looking back at your paper. The skeleton raised an eyebrow. "Was that suppose to be a complement?" He smirked, making you giggle. His puns still always managed to get you every time.

"If you wanna think of it like that." You shrugged, swiveling around in your chair to face him, sketchbook in your lap. "Alrighty, Ink. With your advice in mind, I shall draw you to the best of my ability."

"That's the spirit!!" He grinned, bouncing on the bed excitedly.

"Uhhh but it kinda makes it hard to draw when the subject is constantly moving..."

"Ah..you're right," Ink immediately stopped, blushing slightly. "But before you do that.." He untied his jacket from his waist, putting it on and zipping it up. "We'll start with the easy stuff and go from there. How's this?" He put his hand up, flashing you the peace sign.

"Good enough for me," you smiled, picking up your pencil and getting to work, feeling inspired and determined once again.

"On second thought, why don't you draw me like one of your French-"

"Ink I swear to God!"

"Heheheh..relax kiddo. Just trying to get those creative juices flowing.."
"Really? ANOTHER AU Sans x Reader?"

Yes, yes..this is happening. This will probably be the last one for a while, though.

I said I'd do one with Inktale, only because I LOVE art and just Sans' (he's called Ink) design is soooo cooooooool rainbow cry rainbow cry rainbow cry rainbow cry Rainbow Sheep #2 Rainbow Sheep rainbow cry rainbow cry rainbow cry rainbow cry

I feel like Ink would be the one to help inspire people to make art and continue with it, whether they either have no ideas or lack self-confidence or they can't take criticism very well. But he'd also encourage you to break your limitations and go outside the box.
:LoveYourLimitations:
^ I love this emoticon cause it speaks the truth. There's no perfect way to make art. It's variety. It's surreal. Whether you draw traditionally/digitally or you write stories or really just do anything you're passionate about, you can go the distance. It may take time, and I'm talking months or even years here, but you'll get what you want if you keep working at it.

If ppl are putting you down for your art (there's a difference between that and constructive criticism, where ppl give you TIPS on how to improve), then they're just jealous they can't be as good as you. :D

I'm not one to preach, but all I'm saying is that I've had my fair share of struggles. I kinda self-taught myself how to write good stories.
Four years later I'm still kicking it! yay yay yay yay

So I hope you guys enjoy the story~
